Creating a Post
To generate a post, the community creator can:
- Press the Create button in the left menu and select Post.
- Go to the Posts section in the menu and select Create Post.
On the page for creating a post, you can:
- Add and format text by utilizing headings and list formats.
- Submit photos and videos (maximum of 10 files) by dragging and dropping them or by clicking the upload button.
Publishing Options
The Publishing Options section enables you to tailor the settings of your post:
1. Paid Content: Activate a paywall by selecting the "Paid Content" option.
- Cost: The fee to access the post.
- Description: Information regarding the material.
2. Allow Comments: Activated by default if commenting is permitted in community settings and disabled when comments are disabled in the community.
3. Commission Responsibility: Decide if the viewer covers the 0.5 EUR charge or if it's subtracted from the post's income.
Post Actions
Community creators have the option to:
- Save as Draft: Retain the post for future modifications.
- Schedule: Choose an upcoming date and time for release.
- Publish Now: Instantly publish the content online.
Posts can have the following statuses:
- Draft: Posts preserved but not published yet.
- Scheduled: Posts arranged to be published at a particular time (shows the planned date).
- Published: Posts that are active and accessible to the community.
Editing a Post
Posts can be modified by choosing the Edit option.
Actions for All Posts (Unless Deleted)
- Edit content (text, images, videos).
- Adjust publishing settings (paywall, comments, commission responsibilities).
- Save changes.
- Delete the post.
- Preview the post.
Actions for Drafts
- Edit content and distribution settings.
- Save as a draft.
- Schedule the post.
- Publish now.
Actions for Scheduled Posts
- Edit content and publication settings.
- Save the scheduled post.
- Postpone the publication.
- Return to draft mode.
- Publish now.
Preview Mode
While in creation or edit mode, press the Preview button to view how your post will look:
- For paid posts, a locked preview will appear first.
- Press the Unlock button to see the complete post as an ordinary user.
